COVID-19 Precautions and Guidelines

New and current drummers, our client and staff safety is our number one priority, please read carefully and let us know if you have any questions or provisions you would like us to undertake.

What you need to know

  • Only 2 people are allowed in the studio so parents and carers must wait outside.
  • Teachers will open all doors, please give them space when doing so.
  • Teachers will clean the kit before and after your lesson using a Dettol spray and antibacterial wipes.
  • Teachers will adjust your kit before your lesson.
  • If you or your teacher must isolate, a cover teacher may be allocated or online lessons will take place if available.
  • Group classes and workshops will start when it is safe to do so. 
  • Toilets will be in use and towels have been replaced with paper towels. 

What you need to do

  • Use the hand sanitiser at the main entrance.
  • Wear a mask if you would normally inside, for example at the shops.
  • Stay sat at your kit, if you need to hand anything to the teacher, place it on the floor.
  • Screen dividers will remain in the studio, please only move to the other side when asked to do so.
  • Bring your own drum sticks, books and pencil and paper if you need to write notation.
  • Stay at least a metre away from the teacher at all times and other staff members around the studios.
  • Giveway to staff members and clients around the studio when you are starting or leaving your lesson.
  • If you have been with someone who you think is, or has been unwell, then please let your teacher know immediately and follow track and trace guidance. 
  • If you feel unwell please do not attend your lesson. 
  • If someone in your household or a close contact has Covid-19 please let your teacher know and do not attend your lesson.
